Financial Aid

Amount: $2,000 per semester

Requirements:

• Must be an early enrollment student. (early enrollment opens 9/1/23 and closes by 3/15/24)
• Available to the first 25 early enrollees only.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 throughout the academic year.
• Active involvement in campus ministry or community service.
• Result: This scholarship recognizes those who are interested in being one of the first 25 enrollees to attend Compass College and Seminary.

Amount: $1,000 per semester

Requirements:

• Must be a active member or past member of Shining Light Baptist Church in Monroe, NC.
• Must be a child of someone actively serving in the pastorate or mission field.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 throughout the academic year.
• Active involvement in campus ministry or community service.
• Result: This scholarship recognizes the historical legacy of the college's founders and supports their pursuit of education and spiritual growth.

Amount: $800 per semester

Requirements:

• High school GPA of 3.8 or above (for entering freshmen).
• College GPA of 3.7 or above (for current students).
• Submit letters of recommendation from professors or high school teachers.
• Result: This scholarship recognizes and rewards outstanding academic achievements, encouraging students to excel in their studies.

Amount: $600 per semester

Requirements:

• Active involvement in leadership roles within the college's ministry or a local church.
• Demonstrated passion for Christian ministry or missions.
• Submit a ministry-focused essay explaining their future goals in serving the community or advancing missions.
• Result: This scholarship encourages students with strong leadership potential and a commitment to Christian ministry to further develop their skills and abilities.

Amount: $750 per semester

Requirements:

• Demonstrated financial need through our college-specific financial assessment.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 during the scholarship term.
• Submit a personal statement explaining the financial challenges and the impact of the scholarship on their education.
• Result: This scholarship aims to alleviate the financial burden for students facing economic hardships, empowering them to focus on their studies and personal development.
