Beliefs

We Believe...

in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Old and New Testaments.

in the preservation of God’s Word through the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Greek Textus Receptus, from which the Authorized King James Version of the Bible was translated.

God exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God created the world in six literal twenty-four hour days.

Christ died for the sins of all mankind and that salvation is by grace, through faith alone, based upon the finished work of Christ on the cross.

the bodily resurrection of Christ and His bodily ascension into heaven, where He now intercedes for believers.

the reality of Heaven and Hell.

the eternal security of the believer.

the local church as God’s institution to carry out the Great Commission.

in two ordinances of the local church: baptism by immersion for believers only and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial.

in the pretribulation rapture of all believers.

in the premillennial return and millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ.

in the judgment of believers at the Judgment Seat of Christ and the judgment of unbelievers at the Great White Throne.

in the obligation of every believer to live a holy life and to witness to the lost of the saving power of Christ.

that speaking in tongues and the working of sign miracles gradually ceased as the New Testament Scriptures were completed and their authority became established.

that all forms of compromise with liberalism, ecumenicism, neo evangelicalism, or the charismatic movement should be avoided by those who wish to live in obedience to God.

CORE VALUES

Truth

Aligning one's actions, attitudes, and teachings with the revealed Word of God, which is the ultimate source of truth. Living out the principles and values in Scripture and applying them in service to others. John 14:6; Eph. 4:15; Gal. 5:13.

Leadership

Guiding, inspiring, and serving others with a focus on nurturing spiritual growth, fostering unity, and equipping all to fulfill their God-given purposes while leading by example and demonstrating a servant-hearted attitude reflecting Christ. Eph. 4:11-12; Phil. 2:3,4; I Peter 5:2,3.

Compassion

Demonstrating a deep awareness of and heartfelt concern for the suffering, struggles, and needs of others, coupled with a genuine desire to alleviate their pain, offer support, and sharing God's love in practical ways. I Peter 3:8; Eph/ 4:32; Col. 3:12

Justice

Upholding the moral standards that align with God's revealed truth. It involves treating individuals fairly and impartially, ensuring personal responsibility and accountability, and upholding the sanctity of life, family, and the fundamental principles and values outlined in Scripture. Micah 6:8; Prov. 21:15

Mercy

Exemplifying a forgiving attitude towards others, reflecting God's undeserved kindness and forgiveness. Showing love, care, and empathy to all, demonstrating the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Luke 6:36; Eph. 2:4; Ps 103:8

Raise

Strengthening the fundamental principles and values of faith, building upon the solid bedrock of God's truth, and establishing a firm spiritual groundwork for future generations. Isaiah 58:12; Jude 1:3

Restore

Renewing and healing the brokenness within individuals, families, churches, and communities. Mercifully addressing sin and bringing reconciliation through the power of God's love, truth, and redemption. Gal. 6:1; II Tim 2:24,25; I Tim. 5:10

Respond

Engaging with an active obedience to God's calling, guidance, and prompting. Exhibits attentiveness to the Holy Spirit's leading, a willingness to act in accordance with God's Word, and a readiness to serve and minister to others. James 1:22; I Peter 3:15; Romans 12:1

Humility

Living with a posture of modesty, meekness, and selflessness that acknowledges one's dependence on God and places the needs and interests of others above personal ambition and pride. A willingness to serve with a servant's heart and a commitment to follow the example of Christ. I Peter 5:5; James 4:6
